ClearNote Campus Ministries

ClearNote Campus Ministries exists to be a resource to churches in college communities. College students are at a difficult point in their lives, and it takes a considerable amount of effort and energy to minister to them. Unfortunately, churches in university settings tend to neglect this work, leaving the work of campus ministry to para-church organizations.

While we recognize the difficulty churches face in ministering to college students, we also recognize how crucial it is for students to be involved in the life of a local church. In the church, students interact with believers of varying ages, backgrounds, and spiritual gifts. They have the opportunity to receive life wisdom that they cannot find among their peers. Churches also benefit from the life and energy college students bring to the local body.

Our goal is to help churches in university communities reach out to their local college campus with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to not only reach college students with the Gospel, but to see them integrated into the life of a particular local church where they can be faithfully discipled and use their gifts to build up others.

In order to keep CNCM from supplanting the authority of particular local churches, all of our campus ministers are required to submit themselves fully and primarily to the governing board of elders of the church they serve—not to us. All of our campus ministers have received pastoral training at the ClearNote Pastors College and are trained in campus ministry at Indiana University—Bloomington.
